Greenville partner Brad Rustin, who chairs the Nelson Mullins Financial Services Regulatory Practice, spoke at Green Check's Cannabis Banking Bootcamp. The webinar, "Cannabis Banking: What C-Suites and Boards Need to Know for 2022," discussed financial models, strategies, and understanding the cannabis banking industry. His presentation specifically provided a legal and regulatory update.

Rustin joined other banking, compliance, and legal professionals who shared their knowledge around cannabis banking based on experience working with financial institutions who actively and effectively serve the cannabis industry.

Rustin began as a litigator focusing on consumer financial services litigation and defense of regulatory claims against chartered and non-chartered financial institutions, finance entities, and money services business. He currently spends most of his time counseling financial institutions in regulatory matters, including strategic agreements, product development, and operational compliance.

Green Check brings together leaders in banking, compliance, and technology to build a company that enables financial institutions to safely and successfully offer services to the legal cannabis industry by utilizing best-in-class technology solutions and advisory services.
